Work Safety Helmets:                                                                                                  Standards for work safety helmets are primarily governed by the ANSI/ISEA Z89.1 standard in the United States, which requires helmets to meet specific performance tests for impact resistance, penetration resistance, flammability, and electrical insulation. Helmets are classified into Type I and Type II, with Type I providing protection against top-of-the-head impacts and Type II offering additional lateral impact protection. OSHA mandates compliance with this standard for industries such as construction and general manufacturing. In Europe, the EN 397 standard is used, focusing on shock absorption, penetration resistance, flame resistance, and chin strap strength. Other countries have their own standards, such as CSA Z94.1 in Canada and AS/NZS 1801 in Australia/New Zealand.
