The SRK (Snow Rescue Kit) system allows you to create an emergency stretcher on skis for when an organized rescue service cannot be accessed. Using a pair of skis, usually the injured person's skis, the three parts that make up the steel support frame are connected, and by means of two pairs of sticks held in place with elastic cords, the frame takes on a defined shape. The textile stretcher is fixed on the frame with special straps. A bulkhead is inserted on the front that avoids the accumulation of snow under the stretcher, and helps guide its direction. The injured person is held in position thanks to three straps with automatic buckles. The kit, which weighs 5.3 kg., is contained in a backpack for storage and transport. It can also be easily divided and distributed to more than one person.
